Mississippi Pot Roast

Roasts are so versatile and if I have a choice throughout the fall and winter, I am throwing one of those in the crockpot. Here is one of my favorite and one of the easiest recipes. All you have to worry about are the sides.

2-3lb roast
Jar of pepperoncinis
1 Pack ranch dressing
1 Pack of au jus gravy mix
1 stick of butter

Directions are as easy as they come. Place all ingredients in the crockpot and set crockpot on low for 8 hours. After the 8 hours is up, take out the roast, shred with two forks, and then place back in crockpot until you are ready to eat.

Consume with mashed potatoes…..because they are delicious.
